#在这里快速回复#There are four principles in primary health care including Prevention, equity, participation and intersectoral collaborating.         Prevention is to take interventions to the individual before the disease takes hold. My duty in this activity is to give post-donation care and advice to prevent post donation complication such as VVS.                       Equity is to provide health care services equally to individuals in the community to meet the main health problems. In this PHC activity, all people are welcome to be blood donors if they can meet the blood donation requirement.            Participation is to help individuals actively make their own decision about their health care as they have the right and responsibility. One of the aim of this activity is to arouse the awareness of meaning of blood donation to the public and encourage them to donate their blood which may save one’s life or even their own life someday.           Intersectoral cooperation is to make commitment from all sectors since this can help to make common goals to improve health determinants. This activity is organized by HK Red Cross organization and co-organized by Poly U. The site is hold in Poly U campus so that the target groups can be extended into school area but not only restricted in the community. Students of PolyU will be received the blood donation message and to help spread out this message.
